Anna Shuvalova is an artist working in the field of contemporary art.
I work with photography and mixed media, exploring the boundary between the body and its abstraction. I am interested in how an image transforms through color, light, and material texture, and how the body can lose its recognizability while retaining its presence. In my work, I seek not the external form, but a state — a fragile moment between the body and space, the real and the imagined.
My work has been exhibited internationally. Alongside my artistic practice, I teach and explore the possibilities of photography beyond conventional representation.
